From the supplier: The Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards Program of the Goverment Finance Officers Assn. was established to improve government budgeting. It evaluates operating budgets against a mandatory list. The budgets which are submitted by finance directors are studied by independent finance professionals based on criteria developed by the Committee on Governmental Budgeting and Management's Budget Awards Subcommittee. The city of Kamloops, BC, and the city of Yellowknife, NT, are two Canadian cities which have received this award.
